Led by writer and naturalist Peter McGrath, who has been walking, sampling and fossiling on this beach for 35 years. £10/adult, £5/child, capped for large families.

Fossil forage (and shore safari, don't forget Runswick's amazing rockpools) Sunday 21st June. 2.30 pm start, meet at the top of the slipway. Ammonites, dead squids' bums and Jurassic pooh to be found. You bring bags or buckets for fossils, I'll bring rock splitting tools and stories. Takes 2 hrs 30 mins. £10/adult, £5/child capped for large families. Dogs welcome.

Yes, we'll be a-foraging this weekend! Nice low tides at civilised times.
Saturday 1.30pm and Sunday 2pm starts.
Foraging for fossils, rummaging for jet, peering into rockpools, sea glass, pottery and a few stories from history and the Jurassic. Whatever floats your boat.
