Led by writer and naturalist Peter McGrath, who has been walking, sampling and fossiling on this beach for 35 years. £10/adult, £5/child, capped for large families.

Fossil forage Sunday 31st., 3pm . Weather looking good. Meet top of the slipway, bring bags or buckets for finds. Adults £10, children £5, under 5s and dogs free. Takes 2 - 2hrs 30. I'll bring the rock cracking tools and the stories. End your holibobs by finding ammonites, belemnites and fossil pooh. Message here for more details and to book, or just rock up.

If I was any good at Facebook I'd show you the amazing ammonite finds the kids on the fossil walk took home today.
