John Newton
John Newton is a hugely experienced stand-up comedian and accomplished gag writer, known for his sharp one-liners, inventive material and quick-fire delivery. Performing professionally since 2003, John has become a regular at comedy clubs and venues across the UK, building a reputation for expertly crafted gags, sharp observations and an ability to connect with a wide range of audiences. Equally comfortable with alternative and mainstream crowds, John combines surreal observations with hard-hitting material and good old-fashioned, expertly delivered comedy.

Julian Deane
Julian Deane is an award-winning stand-up comedian and acclaimed joke writer, known for his razor-sharp one-liners, ingenious punchlines and brilliantly twisted observations.
His TV credits include The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), while his writing credits include Mock the Week (BBC Two), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), Unspun with Matt Forde (Dave) and Morgan Spurlock’s New Britannia (Sky Atlantic). Julian has also supported Paul Chowdhry on tour, including a sold-out Wembley Arena date.
An accomplished live performer, Julian won Laughing Horse New Act of the Year and was runner-up in the NATYS, while his podcast Two Vegan Idiots, alongside Carl Donnelly, won at the JOE Comedy Awards.
