Quick update - the chalet has now been swapped to another owner on the Park. So it wont be available to rent or buy.

The chalet is now empty and back in the hands of Park Resorts. Not sure what they will do with it, probably sell it with a much shorter lease.

We've had quite a few problems this year. The cleaning hadnt been quite as thorough as normal on several occasions, which in turn led to guests not taking care of the chalet as in the past. When I went to the chalet after the summer I was really shocked to find my lovely leather chair had what looks like hot wax spilt all over it and is ruined, the bathroom door handle smashed, the lounge curtain track had been pulled down and the strings pulling the curtains across cut off! kitchen cupboard doors damaged, lots of items missing and even my lovely front door sign has been cracked in half. The cleaner hadn't been able to tell me when any of this happened, I realised I couldn't go on relying on people at the Park to help me when I live so far away. Our family has had happy memories of our chalet, we had a lot of fun renovating it and have enjoyed happy breaks here. But I don't want to get to the chalet and have to spend my whole time there fixing things and ringing/waiting for tradesmen due to people being disrespectful. So with a heavy heart I have sold the chalet now. The last guests are staying over October half term. Thank you to everyone who has stayed here and I know a lot of people (99%) have enjoyed the chalet and loved it as we have, its just been the odd few who have ruined it.

A max of 2 dogs are welcomed free of charge. Sleeps 4 in a double and twin bedroom, tv in lounge and main bedroom. Heating/double glazed. Nicely decorated, board games, books, picnic table etc. Lots of availability during Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb starting at £125 per short break/£175 week.

"Dawn" - beautiful detached bungalow 2 mins walk from the dunes at Hemsby. Fully enclosed garden, lots of walks from the door. Peaceful location at the end of a dead-end lane, but 15 mins walk from the bustling seaside amusement area of Hemsby and the award winning Lacon Arms dog friendly pub. 15 mins drive from Horsey beach famous for seals and 15 mins the opposite direction for Great Yarmouth with the sealife centre/theatre/leisure centre etc.
Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms, wifi, logburner, cosy conservatory, memory foam mattress toppers. Smart TVs in bedrooms/lounge, dishwasher, reclining sofas throughout. Board games/dvds/books/garden chairs/bbq etc

Lovely chalet at Camber Sands if anyone is looking for a break. ParkDean Resorts, near Rye in East Sussex, loads to do on site, 4 pools and new outdoor "Splash zone" for this summer. Park is opposite vast sandy beach backed by dunes, chalet is on a great spot in the Park overlooking a wide green where children make friends and play together, few mins walk to amusement centre/pool. Chalet sleeps 4, completely renovated, central heating/double glazed etc, memory foam beds, tv/freeview in master, nicely decorated, comfy sunloungers. Lots of extras in chalet, nothing like a basic Park one. 26 x 5* reviews on Trip Advisor, and certificate of excellence awarded for 2017. Up to 2 (well-behaved) dogs free of charge. Price does NOT include passes, these are available at Reception for £30 short break/£50 week per family. Plenty of long weekends/short breaks available all year round. I hope the guests arriving on Monday have packed sunscreen because the coast has been given a "yellow" warning for excessive temperatures. Luckily the beach is so near to go and cool off with a nice paddle.
