Walking in Austria 🇦🇹 | Rosa’s Inghams Holiday Update

Rosa has just returned from an Inghams Walking Holiday in
Zell am See — here’s how her first two days went:

Day 1
Her flight from London Gatwick ran smoothly, with entry into Salzburg straightforward too. It took just 25 minutes from landing to clear security, collect baggage, and meet the transfer coach to GartenHotel Daxer. Once settled, she picked up her travel card — giving full access to local public transport, gondolas, and boat trips on Lake Zell.

Day 2
A short 20-minute walk brought her down to the lake, where she enjoyed a wander before joining a 45-minute boat ride — all included in the travel card! For a small extra charge, the top deck offers stunning views, well worth the upgrade. After the cruise, she set off walking around the lake, covering just over 9 miles.
The weather was changeable, ranging from warm 25°C sunshine right through to thunderstorms! Back at the hotel after dinner, she even headed back into town to watch the impressive fountain and music show — before calling it a well-earned night.
