My face when someone says “but why do you spend so much money on holidays?” 😂

Because THIS. 👆🏻🌊

I’ll never regret spending money on seeing the world, making memories with my family and actually enjoying the life I work so bloody hard for.
Money comes back.
Annual leave comes back.
Work will still be there.

But the boys won’t always be this age. We won’t always get these summers together. And I’m very aware that time is moving WAY too quickly. 🥹

So yes, I’ll book the holiday.
I’ll take the photos.
I’ll swim in the ridiculously blue sea.
I’ll explore somewhere new.
And I’ll probably start planning the next one before I’ve even unpacked. 😂✈️

I don’t want to spend my whole life working just to eventually enjoy it “one day.”

I want to enjoy it now, too. ❤️

What a way to spend your 12th birthday! 🥳🌊🔥

Reggie & Charlie got to meet A!MS at Wave Fest today 🙌🏻 AND they both got their shirts signed! ❤️

Safe to say this is one birthday — and one Cyprus memory — we won't be forgetting anytime soon 🇨🇾🎶

Imagine missing the memory because you were worried about how your body looked. ❤️

Yeah… no thanks.

Do I look at photos of myself and pick myself apart sometimes? Absolutely.

Do I have bits I’d change? Of course I do.

But am I going to spend my holiday covering myself up, sitting on the side or avoiding photos because my body doesn’t look how I think it “should”?

Absolutely bloody not. 🙌🏻

This body has carried three babies. ❤️
Two I get to watch grow up, and one I’ll carry in my heart forever.

It’s changed.
It has lumps, bumps, scars and bits that definitely aren’t where they used to be 😂

But bloody hell… look what it’s done.

And right now, that same body is swimming in the clearest water in Cyprus, chasing sea turtles, climbing over rocks and making memories with my family. 🐢🇨🇾

So yeah, I put the bikini on.

I got in the sea.

And I took the bloody photo. 🙌🏻

Because THAT is what I’m going to remember.

Not whether my stomach was flat.
Not whether I had cellulite.
Not whether the angle was flattering.
And definitely not whether somebody on Instagram thought I should cover up.

Life is far too bloody short.

Wear the bikini.
Get in the sea.
Take the photo.
Make the memory.

Your body doesn’t need to be perfect to deserve to be part of your life. ❤️

You only get one go at this.

And I refuse to spend mine watching from the sidelines.

Take the bloody holiday. Your kids won’t be little forever. ❤️

And apparently mine aren’t little anymore. 😭

Charlie is taller than me.

Reggie — my BABY — turns 12 in a few days and isn’t far behind him.

Honestly… WHERE have my babies gone?! 🥹

I swear it was five minutes ago they were tiny, holding my hand everywhere we went and needing Mum for absolutely everything.

Now I’m stood on a beach in Cyprus between two boys who are growing up ridiculously fast… and it really hit me.

This is why family holidays matter so much to me.

Life is bloody busy.

We work.
We build businesses.
We pay bills.
We clean the house.
We answer messages.
We spend half our lives saying “I’ll do it in a minute.”

But you don't get this time back.

For these two weeks I get to actually STOP.

To be Mum.

To swim with them. Explore with them. Eat out together. Laugh until we're crying. Annoy each other 😂. Stay up too late. Try new things. Put the everyday stuff to one side and actually be together.

And yes, holidays cost money.

But one day I’ll have all the time in the world to work… and my boys will have their own lives, their own plans and their own holidays.

That bit can wait, thanks. 😭😂

So take the photos.
Book the trip.
Use the annual leave.
Put the bloody phone down.
Stop saying “maybe next year.”

You only get so many summers with them while they're still yours to drag along on the family holiday. ❤️

YOLO might sound cheesy… but it’s bloody true.

Make the memories.

The work will still be there when you get home. 🌊🇨🇾❤️

📍 A little Paphos lunch find 🇨🇾

Stopped at Tea for Two for what was supposed to be a quick, light lunch while exploring Paphos… and this was such a good little find 🙌🏻

Fantastic service, really friendly, food was lovely and the portions were definitely not stingy 😂

And can we talk about those homemade desserts?! 👀 That meringue was calling my name, so obviously I had to try it 🤣

If you're visiting Paphos, Cyprus and looking for somewhere relaxed to stop for lunch, a coffee or something sweet, definitely one to pop on your list.
