๐จโ๏ธ THIS COULD HELP SOMEONE'S HOLIDAY โ๏ธ๐จ
I had absolutely no idea this had changed... did you? ๐ค๐ป
If you or someone you know is travelling to Spain and has a hidden disability, there's an important update that could make their airport journey much easier. ๐ช๐ธ
The UK Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard ๐ป is no longer accepted for access to Aena's dedicated assistance security lanes at participating Spanish airports.
Instead, travellers can now apply for Aena's FREE Invisible Disability Badge โฟ๐
This badge can provide:
โ
Access to dedicated assistance security lanes (where available)
โ
Additional support through security
โ
Easier identification for airport staff
โ
One badge per family or travel group
โ๏ธ Available at selected Spanish airports including Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Mรกlaga, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife South and more.
๐ To apply:
โ๏ธ Complete the online application at least 48 hours before travel
โ๏ธ Enter your passenger and flight details
โ๏ธ Receive your badge by email
โ๏ธ Save it to your phone or print it before you travel
As someone who helps hundreds of travellers every year, I wanted to share this because many people may not be aware of the change.
Sometimes it's the little things that can make travelling less stressful and more enjoyable. ๐
