25 years ago today.

I can still remember exactly where I was on 11 September 2001.

I was working for Fleet Street Travel, with a crackin’ team in our Knutsford office, doing a role very similar to the one I do today - onboarding businesses for our amazing team to support their employees travelling all over the world.

We were an incredibly busy regional office and the TV was rarely, if ever, switched on during the working day.

But that day, everything came to a standstill.

We gathered around the television and watched the screen in complete disbelief as the events in New York unfolded. Like so many people around the world, we struggled to comprehend what we were witnessing.

It’s hard to believe that 25 years have passed, yet the memory of that day and where I was still feels incredibly clear.

Today, I’m thinking of all those who lost their lives, their families and loved ones, and the countless people whose lives were changed forever by the events of 9/11.

Some moments in history stay with you forever. This will always be one of them. ❤️
