One of the absolute best perks of being a Travel Counsellor is getting to plan dream trips for all my clients who have become friends ❄️✨

Right now, I am working on a top-secret mission for some very dear friends who also happen to be wonderful clients.
We are scheming up the ultimate surprise: finding the perfect way to tell their children that they are off to Lapland for a magical, single-day trip!

Booking the flights and arranging the itinerary is the easy part. The real challenge? Engineering that exact moment of pure, jaw-dropping childhood joy when they realize they are hopping on a plane to see Santa. I want the reveal to be just as unforgettable as the trip itself.

Recently quoted a dream trip that swaps the daily commute for Canadian Rockies rail journeys and Alaskan glaciers.

My clients will fly into Calgary for a relaxing stay at Moose Hotel & Suites in Banff, with time to explore Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and enjoy a guided wildlife tour with gondola views.

Next comes one of the world’s great rail journeys through the Rockies, overnighting in Kamloops before arriving into Vancouver for a stylish stay at the Fairmont Waterfront.

The finale: a 7 night Alaska cruise on Holland America Line’s Koningsdam, with breathtaking fjords, glaciers and coastal scenery, before flying home via Amsterdam.
