G & K’s Stay’s is a family home now accommodating guests… the reason we’re called G & K’s is an ode to our family.

We relocated to beautiful Cornwall almost 20years ago having had many amazing holidays and such happy times it seemed to be the only answer when tragedy hit our family and we lost our only son at 18 years old.
GRANT was gone and somehow life had to move on and so our new chapter began.
Life was still very hard at times but we lived in and loved Cornwall for many years untill sadly Grants Dad KIRK had to leave us too after a brave albeit impossible fight against cancer.

Grant spent many holidays here, he would definitely have made it his home one day and Kirk absolutely loved to welcome friends and family and be around holiday makers having fun.

Before he lost his brave battle kirk would say that it was because he had good family and because he had lived here in Carbis Bay and St ives that it was possible for him to feel happiness after such heartache.

Grant and Kirk would have loved to have stayed with us so in their memory and to follow on in their footsteps of fun family holidays our family home is now G & K’s STAYS so that we can help friends families and guests enjoy this beautiful place as much as we do!
