The loveliest card left for us by recent guests 🥹💛

‘Down Cornwall’s lanes where the hawthorns lean, past patchwork fields and sunlit greens
There’s a place where the pace of the world grows slow - Higher Lanherne Farm, where soft winds blow

A barn once home to straw and swallows, now welcomes hearts through stone framed hollows,
With timbers old and comforts new, it holds the charm of countryside true

Out in the field, the cows stand still, their calves at play on the rolling hill,
A working farm with gentle grace, where morning light warms every space

The beach at Mawgan Porth’s close by, where run wild and sea birds cry,
We’ve wandered shores with sandy shoes, and let the waves shake off the blues

Inside, we’ve sat through rain and sun, with scrabble tiles and pasty crumbs,
Laughed over words we barely knew, and brewed cream teas when the sky turned blue

The kettle sings, the days drift past, each slower and sweeter than the last,
It’s not just bricks, or fields, or air - it’s a feeling you find, and leave part of you there

So here’s to the cows, the tides, the breeze, the lazy walks and Cornish teas,
At Higher Lanherne, the world feels wide, and every guest leaves love inside 🤍’

The next after and before…😍✨

Unbelievable really, isn’t it? What once resembled the top of an old crumbly castle has been totally transformed into a beautiful open plan kitchen/living room space. Plus the open beams upstairs are the original beams that formed the old tractor shed at the back of The Barn 👏
