Had a wonderful walk along the coast path to Gara Rock Hotel for lunch with Sash yesterday. The water is so clear and turquoise this time of year and the undergrowth is so verdant. You could travel half a world away and not find a more spectacular spot.

Welcome to, The Little Blue House, Island St, Salcombe. As a family we have been coming to Salcombe all of our lives so We have tried to make sure that this stunning little holiday home provides a family of up to 6 people with the perfect base for exploring the joys of Salcombe and its surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty.
The Little Blue House has three bedrooms, The beautiful master bedroom has a King size double bed with estuary views over the Batson Creek area.
The lovely little twin room has a sunny outlook and makes a great teenagers room and a small but nicely finished bunk room with bunkbeds that will accommodate two adults if needed rounds off the sleeping quarters.
Downstairs, the house has been remodelled into a modern Open Plan area which is light and airy m.
The sitting area in front of the large bay window gives plenty of space to relax with a fitted kitchen area behind and a large solid oak table for dining. This area is the centrepiece of the house.
The house has two bathrooms one upstairs with bath and shower and downstairs is a cute little shower room which means that everybody can get ready before a good night out in town. There is also a third shower in the courtyard behind the house, meaning that after a day on the beach, you can wash off the sand from your hair and wetsuits and hang the wetsuit outside to dry.
There is a fabulous utility room with both washing machine and dryer.
The kitchen also has a large fridge freezer, good sized pantry cupboard beneath the stairs and a dishwasher. Heating and hot water from a gas combi boiler means that your shower will never run cold.
Super fast broadband and a smart TV also keep your rainy days interesting.
Our beautiful little house has three outside areas all of which are sun traps. Well into the evening at the higher level is a Sun deck with dining table for 6.  this area has been fully enclosed with railings so the dogs and children can be safely withheld from running off into town. The two lower decks provide extra space so that when adults are entertaining friends, the teenagers can still enjoy the outside area themselves. Should you have paddle boards and are like these can also be stored in the lower areas.
The Little Blue House benefits from the facilities of Island Street with the co-op supermarket being a two minute walk from the front door. Being on Island Street has the massive advantage. of being at the bottom of the hill and so it is a flat walk into town, and also to the two nearest car parks in Batson Creek and Shadycombe.

Woody, Sasha and family take great pleasure in introducing you to Salcombe Holiday Home The Little Blue House.

The Little Blue House is our beautiful Holiday Home on Island St. The perfect base for a stay in sunny Salcombe. The house has been refurbished with love and designed to accommodate a family of up to 6 people. It has a stunning main living / kitchen / Dining area, which is light and airy and the very definition of modern open plan living. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a Double with Estuary views towards Batson creek, a beautiful twin room and a small but very practical Bunk room. ( The bunk beds will take Adults) There is a bathroom upstairs and a stunning shower room downstairs as well as an outside shower for getting rid of the sand after a day on the beach.
Outside there is an upper deck which is a glorious Sun Trap and has been railed to keep children and dogs safely contained. On the lower level we have two further large deck areas so plenty of entertaining space for those long summer evenings and best of all we get evening sun as well !!
There is no parking on site but you can always pull up outside to unload / load and it’s a flat walk to the creek and shadycombe car parks.
The Little Blue house is a short level walk from the town centre and very convenient for the Coop ( 2 minute walk) The shops and restaurants of Island St including the famous Salcombe Gin distillery are on the doorstep and yet the slightly raised position of the house means that you have a good degree of privacy.

Dear Friends, Please take a moment to look at my latest challenge, I leave in 38 days time to Cycle 450km across Jordan. It will be hot, hilly and dusty and the zenith of the challenge is a non stop 27km climb up a mountain at the end of a 90km day. The entire challenge is being done on some pretty mediocre mountain bikes which will add to the difficulty. I have paid in full for the rip and flights etc by donating the first £800, so you are only sponsoring me to do the challenge YOU ARE NOT FUNDING MY TRIP.
