There are many reasons I love Iceland, but today a new reason was added to my list. The below was sent on an alert newsletter that i have signed up to for warnings on severe weather or worrying volcanic activity

It's the season for the lambs to be born. From now on and throughout the summer they will be roaming free around the country and can be expected on and around roads in many areas. When sheep are near or on the road, slow down and show caution, they are very unpredictable when cars approach.

We've been so very very busy as Covid rules change and flight schedules have been shifting that we haven't taken time to celebrate the fact that we now regularly have people travelling!

Our first client in 18 months went on the Venice Simplon Orient Express from Venice to Vienna at the end of September, and we now have a stream of clients travelling to Iceland.

After 18 months of just constantly rearranging people's itineraries to travel on future dates as Covid dragged on, this review received today has brought such joy to our hearts. It is so lovely to receive feedback about people travelling again.

We had a most enjoyable time and the recommendations for hotels and excursions were excellent. Yesterday was a special day!

After 19 months of constant rearranging of clients travel to future dates, we started sending out travel packs again for imminent travel.❤️

Small but beautiful is how the Icelanders are describing it. Just imagine how stunning it would be if the Northern Lights came out tonight as well. It’s the equinox so a good chance!

We know you don't travel to Iceland for the food. The 's, Geysers, Volcanoes, Glaciers, Ice Caves, Snowmobiling, Super-Jeep Tours through spectacular Volcanic landscapes tend to be the reasons......but don't forget the food is amazing too! Their organic lamb, and freshly caught seafood is heaven!
