Iceland has a way of making everything else feel small. ✨

It's consistently ranked among the most welcoming countries in the world - one of the first to legalise same-sex marriage, and a place where that openness is genuinely cultural. It also happens to be one of the most extraordinary places we take people.

We have two very different reasons to go this year.

🌋 Eclipse Trek: August 2026
Into the remote wilderness of Thórsmörk first - glaciers, volcanic valleys, landscape shaped by forces still very much at work. Then to the Reykjanes peninsula to watch the sun disappear entirely. A total solar eclipse, in one of the best places on earth to see it.

🌌 Northern Lights Winter Trek
Iceland in winter is something else. Snow and ice underfoot, dark skies overhead, geothermal valleys and mountain passes. The kind of silence that requires effort to find. And, if the conditions deliver, the Aurora Borealis, lighting up everything in between. It's not guaranteed but the landscape makes it worth it either way.

Jordan is open again. 🎉

That means Trek to Ancient Petra is back - Our October departure is confirmed.

Whilst this update is cause for celebration, what's happening across parts of the Middle East continues to be devastating for so many people, and we don't take that lightly.

But, in positive news, Jordan is open once again and safe to travel, and our team on the ground continues to give us every confidence. Petra will be quieter than it has been in years, and right now, that feels like a great reason to go — not just for the experience, but for the people there who depend on tourism's return.

The October departure is running. If you've been waiting, or if this is something you've been thinking about... maybe this is the nudge you needed.

A huge well done to our Snowdon by Night challengers - on Saturday night, whilst most of us were tucked up in bed, these trekkers laced up their boots and layered up to take on a moonlit summit of Yr Wyddfa. The conditions were tough, and they all did amazingly and should be very proud of themselves. Congratulations, team! 🎉

A huge thank you to Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team for coming out to support us in the early hours. When one of our participants needed assistance off the mountain following a knee injury, our crew - including two members of Brecon Mountain Rescue Team working on the event - made the call to bring in stretcher support. That decision was made quickly, calmly, and correctly, and as ever, we're proud of the team for their professionalism.

Mountain rescue teams are volunteers who give their time freely to keep people safe in the hills. We don't take that lightly, and we're grateful to be part of a wider outdoor community where that support exists. 💙
