A round route today, parked at Whitby near the golf course. Walked to Ruswarp, stopped at Jackson’s for a bacon and egg sandwich (all of the fresh meat looked absolutely top quality and they make pies!) Then from Ruswarp along the river back into Whitby, up past the whale bones and pavilion. Stopped in a cafe to share a slice of chocolate and caramel sponge cake. Onto the beach towards Sandsend, cut under the middle of the golf course and back to the car. Approx 6 miles, gorgeous walk
