Gorgeous evening tonight with a colourful sunset, and so lucky to catch sight of this young deer grazing!
Today we’ve seen
Pheasant, squirrels, rabbits, deer, ducks and sheep & lambs (obvs 😆)
Yesterday morning there were 3 young deer - we just love seeing them! 💗 🦌

Help! I need advice!!

The little uninvited Basta**s are trying to ruin me!!

How close we could’ve come to having a major disaster down here!

During changeover the other day I smelt gas… Q panic stations! I literally had the gas landlord safety inspection done three weeks ago, I’ve not even had the invoice yet!
I went out with my washing up liquid and water to trace the leak and found that bloody SQUIRRELS had chewed my brand spanking, cost a lot of money gas pipes!
So, I’m all for welcoming wildlife down here but the squirrels can do one. They nearly blew the whole gaff to kingdom come!
Temporary wire mesh in place and pipes coated with chilli sauce until I can find a permanent solution to protect the pipes
What I need to know now though is what is squirrel proof?!

I’m very excited that when I was doing changeover today the ducks are back on the pond and I saw a squirrel too! I’m so pleased the animals love their new home too! (Excuse the music it was on in the background as I cleaned! 🫣)

Yesterday I snapped a beautiful rainbow and amazing blue sky. Oh and started on the finishing touches down at the Hut! I can feel James’s eyes rolling when I whip out my phone to document the progress 😂 watch out for the next video, he earns some praise!
