Binnington Blooms

Binnington Blooms Country garden flowers grown here on the farm supplied freshly cut from April to Oct. By the bunch or by the bucketful, for a gift, a wedding or yourself

Between April and October I grow seasonal british flowers for the cut flower market. The range of blooms is tremendous, changes with the season and many have a wonderful perfume. Because the flowers are freshly picked and do not travel far they will last a surprisingly long time. Flowers can be purchased from the farm (please contact me first) or from Wykeham Village market on Friday mornings Apri

l to October. Flowers can be purchased as a mixed bunch, gift bouquet, individual blooms or by the bucketful. As wedding flowers they are very popular, come and discuss what colour and type of flowers you want and they can be supplied by the bucketful on the day of your choice, freshly picked and conditioned just the day before. Your flowers will be completely individual to you, on your special day.

British Flowers Week has once again made me reflect on who my customers are and why growing the flowers I sell is so rewarding.

From the lady who so carefully and thoughtfully selected just a few of the palest pink flowers for her wedding, to the grandmother who sent the biggest bouquet to her grandchildren in their new home. To weddings big and small, a flower festival and friends who regularly pick up a bunch to take as a gift and all my lovely market customers.

Thank you for believing that freshly picked and locally grown british flowers are the right choice.

Celebrating British Flowers Week with a pretty in pink wedding selection brought together with collaboration from Fieldhouse Flowers, Wolds Way Flowers and Flowers by Clowance. Along with a colourful selection for Wykeham Village Market, many thanks Rachel for your help this week. So many more flowers to come this season despite the rain, wind and cold!

Celebrating British Flowers week, so many wonderful varieties to choose from. If you are buying flowers this week ask ‘are they freshly picked and locally grown?’ All these are - a selection of market bunches, wedding buckets and whites for a wedding florist.

I am proud and delighted to say that as a member of Flowers From The Farm I have contributed flowers grown here in North Yorkshire for the gift of flowers for the King’s coronation.

Flowers from the Farm has been working closely with floral designer and sustainable floristry advocate to bring the beauty, joy and variety of local, seasonal flowers to the heart of this historic occasion.

Flowers from the Farm members teamed up to relay buckets of fresh flowers to local hubs, regional hubs and then onto the main hub in South Gloucestershire where they were sorted and prepared for Shane Connolly to arrange at Westminster Abbey.

What a privilege to be part of this.
