18 years ago I was struggling with drink, fighting all the time and I didn’t know why I then realised it was my mental health and I didn’t know how to deal with it and to be honest I thought it was the norm.
I was having nightmares about certain incidents in Northern Ireland and drinking seemed the easiest way to curb the nightmares but it’s a never ending circle. Being tired all the time stressed out people walking out of the Pub when I walked in cos they thought I was going to kick off
Not a nice feeling !!!!
Then I found Krav Maga and it honestly changed my Life.
Not because it taught me how to fight but more to control myself and also I couldn’t wait to get
Up in the morning and go to the gym
I’m now an instructor and have my own gym under TML team Martin Luna and I honestly love teaching people. Kids especially and seeing them achieve
Certificates, belts etc it’s all worth it to see the Smile on their faces !!
So if you are struggling with mental health or even if not get to the Gym or find a martial arts School and I guarantee if you stick it out within 6 months you will be a changed person
