Cayton Bay is one of the Yorkshire Coast’s best hidden gems. Great for surfing, dog walking and even dolphin spotting, it’s a proper sandy beach ideal for sandcastle making.

The Beach House Yorkshire sits on top of the cliffs, right next to the path down. We’re already booked for a lot of 2026, so if you’re ready for a stunning seaside break, don’t wait too long to book.

Our new website is live now, booking directly on there. If you are thinking of booking for the summer we have very few dates left between May and September and have taken 5 bookings in the last 24 hours so don't leave it too late.

It's ideal for families and dogs, a secure garden, relaxed doggy rules (feel free to have them on the sofas, sleeping in the bedrooms), a huge beach to wear dogs and kids out just below the cliff, new smart TVs in 2 bedrooms with leads already attached so teenagers can bring their X box, Play stations and leave you to relax in front of the coal/wood burning stoves.
