April might just be our favourite month. The beech leaves are finally bursting from their shells and the ferns are slowly unfurling in the dappled light below.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, listen to the birds sing and soak in our glorious outside bath.

One of our recent guests said: “We’ve tried five-star stays in Scarborough and this is the best.” That one meant a lot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easter updates from The Lodge Burniston 🌿

April is always an exciting month. The trees are waking up, with big buds on the beech trees outside The Lodge.

We love walking through Scalby Village (next village South from Burniston). The daffodil displays are always gorgeous and the path along The Beck (Scalby Sea Cut) is a great little circular walk.

We took the girls to for ice cream and we were all impressed. Highly recommend trying the flat white and having a little look round all the local goodies. We even picked up some treats for our Easter guests to enjoy.

If you like craft beer and pizza with a view of Whitby Abbey then is a winner everytime. The Jet Black is a tasty one to try 🖤
