I Learn Education Scunthorpe

I Learn Education Scunthorpe The primary ethos of 'I Learn Education' is learning through play. We work with each individual child and focus on their unique learning style and development.

As a result of modern living it is a sad fact that today's children now experience fewer opportunities to have fun outside exploring nature and getting dirty. Modern living sees a heavy reliance on safe, supervised indoor activities often involving screens and with this comes the loss of autonomous adventuring among children. . Outdoor play promotes physical activity, prevents obesity in later lif

e and the fresh air has proven to reduce the risk of illnesses and infection. At ' I learn Education' through our ethos of learning through play, children are encouraged to take appropriate risks, make mistakes and learning a great deal from adventurous play. I Learn Education also encourage non gender specific play, challenging stereotypes, giving them freedom to explore and learn without judgement. We aim for “life readiness”, not only equipping them academically but to have strong social skills, being able to cope emotionally with being separated from their parents, to have independence in their own personal care, have a curiosity about the world and a desire to learn. So expect your child to come home dirty, happy & having learnt a great deal!

Our Holiday Club children had a lovely trip to the pebble beach this morning.

Taking in the beautiful views of the Humber Bridge, the children used watercolours to paint what they could see before getting creative and decorating their own pebbles to take home.

It was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, enjoy nature and express their creativity while making lots of happy memories together.

They truly are the most amazing team, working so hard every single day and always going above and beyond to make sure every child feels loved, safe, valued and has so much fun while they're with us.

We couldn't be more grateful for everything they do. Thank you for your dedication, kindness and the care you give to our children every single day. We appreciate each and every one of you!

Graduation Party 2026 🤍🎓

What a fantastic morning celebrating our wonderful children who are getting ready for their next exciting adventure at school!

We were delighted to welcome Rachael from Lion Learners for an amazing animal handling session. The children had the opportunity to meet and hold a variety of fascinating animals, it was such a memorable experience for everyone!

Afterwards, we headed into the garden to continue the celebrations with music, dancing and a fun game of pass the parcel.

From our garden to our plates 🍽️

The children had great fun harvesting our potatoes this morning, uncovering what had been growing beneath the soil. There were lots of excited smiles and muddy hands!

Our freshly harvested potatoes made it all the way to the lunch table, where the children enjoyed them alongside fish in a delicious parsley sauce and green beans.

A wonderful hands-on experience, helping the children learn where their food comes from while enjoying something they grew themselves.
