A thought for the day...

If you take a piece of rotten fruit and place it besides perfectly good fruit, what happens? The mould from the rotten fruit spreads over to the good fruit and both end up bad.

So what happens to us when we surround ourselves with negative, rude or toxic people? Do we become just like them?

Surround yourself with good people who provide value in your life and who make you happy!

What do you want to achieve in this next year? What have you achieved? include your thoughts and feelings... just be yourself as if writing to a best friend.
Do it from the heart.

When you are finished, put the letter away for you to return to read it when the time is right x

When we start to work with our guides, we are naturally nosey and inquisitive. We feel the need to label and know names but by taking the time to 'feel' their energy tells us so much more about who they are, their personality, their mannerisms...
But first... you must know your own energy🌬

I have just posted on my Reiki page about a lovely course I attended this weekend in supporting the end of life transition back to spirit. ❤

"You are not on your own, you are really loved and just know that I am with you"

I felt truely honoured to have been part of the Soul Midwifery accredited course this weekend.

Covid has brought a huge shift in awareness of death and dying although there is still very much an enormous fear on the subject. There is a phobia to speak about the "D" word so therfore there is not enough understanding.

A Soul Midwife shares the burden to give unconditional tender loving care in helping someone to die. Being there when they are in crisis and very frightened.
Just being present...
Sadly so many people are on their own.

We work to remove the fear of isolation. For our 'friend' to feel that human touch other than in a clinical environment.
This is deep spiritual work where a broad scale is covered using gentle practice for meditations, breathing techniques, reliving memories, end of life wish plans, unfinished business and releasing...

This is gently and skilfully holding the space as we follow the inspiring stages in the process of dying at a soul level as our 'friend' transitions back home to spirit.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if every dying person had someone with them?

Considering that we have and are still experiencing a major change, this post does give food for thought on our behaviour in soceity. I've heard others being spoken to in a harsh manner when out and about, people with a chip on their shoulder... There is a kind way to express your concerns if an issue arises and kindness costs nothing.❤
