🍻 KHAO SOK – DAY 3! 🇹🇭🌴
Last night we hit the bars along the Khao Sok strip… and let’s just say we found the karaoke microphone! 🙈

Bed: 1am
Alarm: 7:30am ⏰

After breakfast we headed to Khao Thep Pitak Community-Owned Farm & Restaurant, where the food is made using ingredients picked straight from local organic farms and the fruit orchard right here on the property. 🍍🥭🌱

And now it’s time to hit the road again

🚐 2-hour coach ride to the pier
Then it’s onto the boat for a 1.5-hour crossing…

🏝️ NEXT STOP: KOH SAMUI! 🌴🍹☀️

🌴 If you ever get the chance to travel somewhere completely different and step outside your comfort zone… SAY YES! 🌴

I arrived into Surat Thani around 6:30am after an incredible night on the Thai sleeper train…and surprisingly… I absolutely loved it! 🚂🇹🇭 Such an amazing experience and one I’d definitely do again!

From there, it was around an hour by coach to Khao Sok National Park and just look at those views! 😍

Then an amazing hour-long boat ride through the most incredible scenery, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, jungle and turquoise water. 🌿🛶

A spot of kayaking ✔️
A cheeky Chang ✔️🍺
A traditional Thai meal ✔️
And scenery that honestly doesn’t look real! 😍

Now we’re heading into the Khao Sok rainforest for the night… 🌴🌳

Tonight we’re swapping the comfort of a hotel for a sleeper train from Bangkok to Surat Thani
10 hours of travelling through the night

It’s definitely eye-opening, but it’s exactly the kind of experience I wanted from this trip. Seeing a different side of Thailand, travelling the way so many locals do, and taking it all in as we go.
We’ve got our little beds made, snacks and plenty of water at the ready.

“And if you know Claire… she can sleep absolutely ANYWHERE, so I’m pretty sure she’ll be just fine! 🤣😴”

there are so many different ways to see Thailand. You can fly, take the trains, ferries, buses… or, like us tonight, climb into a sleeper train and see where it takes you!

Not always glamorous, but definitely authentic — and these are the experiences you remember forever 🇹🇭❤️

🇹🇭 Claire’s Thailand adventure – Day 2! 🇹🇭
Staying right in Chinatown, so obviously the first thing we had to do was try the local food… Pad Thai for just £3.50! 😍🍜

A couple of drinks later… and the b**rs here are HUGE! 🍺😂

Bed at 2am… alarm at 7am. What could possibly go wrong?! 🥴

Up bright and early and just a 5-minute walk from our hotel to see the incredible Big Golden Buddha
🙏✨ Entry was just 100 baht – around £2.30.

We even had a go at making our own bracelets at the floating markets because apparently we’re not just travel experts, we’re now jewellery designers too! 😂

Then a 15-minute walk to the pier, where we jumped on our private long-tail boat 🚤 and headed out along the river, taking in the sights and seeing a completely different side of Bangkok.

Next stop was Yimsoo Cafe, a really meaningful cafe that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities. ❤️ The food was amazing, and I opted for the pork boat noodles… WOW! 🤤🍜

Then off to Wat Pho Temple before a quick tuk-tuk ride back to the hotel to grab our bags…
Because next up… THE SLEEPER TRAIN! 🚂😳

🚤 Claire’s Bangkok adventure continues…

Today we took to the canals on a private long-tail boat to see the real Bangkok and what an adventure it was! 😂

Beautiful scenery, hidden canals, local life… and thankfully only one casualty.
One member of the team managed to lose a flip flop in the river! 😱🌊

Luckily, our amazing boat driver came to the rescue and recovered the fallen flip from the depths. 😂

Another day of Claire finding out what Thailand has to offer our customers… one lost flip at a time! 🇹🇭❤️
