Apologies if I’ve been a little slow responding over the weekend, I’ve been on a road trip.
First, the Glamping Show at Stoneleigh
Then on to We Have Ways Fest near Silverstone
Finally an early morning tramp up the M1 for a lovely day at Bert’s Barrow attending their September Wedding Fayre, a busy few hours which kept me going after not a lot of sleep!
Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

What a lovely way to start the week, with this review from Kayleigh who stayed with her family in Stables Cottage over the weekend :-) We have just got back from a lovely weekend stay, very peaceful place just what we needed to relax, seen James around and spoke to him he was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We look forward to booking again

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Mackinder Farm Holiday Accommodation and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

The lodge was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is simply perfect—set in wonderfully private and secluded surroundings, giving you the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, yet only a short distance from lovely walks into Selby and Burn, along with some fantastic nearby pubs.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They went above and beyond with recommendations for places to explore, eat, and drink, which really made our stay even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside escape, that’s easy to find, without being too far from local amenities, this is the perfect place. We’ll definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!
