The Mill is a spectacular conversion of the old mill at Lewinshope, set in over a hundred acres of grounds and mature woodlands in the beautiful Yarrow Valley, near Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. We can also accommodate up to two people in the Farmhouse, which is only a forty second walk from The Mill. Whether you wish to unwind and relax, or be active; there are many activities and attractions starting from your door.

What a stunning wedding for Nikki and Sean on July 25th 2025. They were the most lovely couple & family who were all so chilled. What a beautiful day it was and even the rain at one point didn't bother any of them with a quick moving of rugs to the stretch tent and all came back out when the sun appeared for the rest of the day. Thank you for choosing The Mill Nikki & Sean & not forgetting beautiful Ruby. A few photos of ours and Alex of the preparation and the special day. Oh my goodness. This weather is amazing and just loving the strips of sunlight bouncing off the wood in the Mill in these pictures, it's finding places I dont really see when working in there. LABOUR OF LOVE:
For many years we've wanted a bedhead in the Oak Room; but we wanted it to be "right".
2004 years ago Johnny took Harry out of primary school for a day to carry out some tricky timber extraction in the wood above our house at Lewinshope. Among the logs collected was a beautiful evenly curved trunk which we thought we might sell for a large "Inglenook" lintel. It was "faced" about four years ago and re-cut this spring. Final cutting and sanding has taken some careful thought. What do you think? Thank you Andy Douglas, Kevin Campbell, Lucas Gintowt, , Theo Dunn for making it into the wall!
