Join me, Les Peebles (The Dales Dipper), for a special long weekend in the heart of Swaledale. We're creating a space for adventure, relaxation, and genuine connection in one of my most favourite places.

🏊 Guided Wild Swimming: As your host and guide, I'll lead us on a day full of dips (with transport) to stunning and invigorating rivers and falls. Perfect for all levels, from first-timers to seasoned dippers!

Also, a half day of Nature Immersion with Sue Barker: I'm so pleased to welcome Sue Barker, who will guide a delightful half-day of barefoot walking, nature art, and /or playful games. It's all about reconnecting with that sense of wonder.

🛌 Our Cosy Dales Hub: The beautiful Crowtrees Bunkbarn will be our home—a warm, modern space to share stories, relax, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere together.

Subject: Flexible & Seeking My Next Chapter: Space, Project, or Park-Up 🚌✨

After two brilliant years of full-time bus life, I'm looking to plant new roots. I'm completely flexible on the "how"—my priority is finding the right welcoming community whether that be one other house mate or a whole town!

I have two main ideas in mind:

PATH 1: A Move-In Ready Space or a even a project 🏡
This could be a room in a shared house, a granny flat, an insulated hut, a static caravan, or an outbuilding. I am a skilled decorator with experience in property renovation, so a fixer-upper may well be a welcome opportunity.

PATH 2: A Park-Up for My Bus 🚍
Alternatively, I'm seeking a permanent or long-term spot on private land, or a big drive for my self-contained, 7-metre converted home-on-wheels. I am a respectful, low-impact occupant. You'll hardly know I'm there ;)

📍 Crucially, I'm looking for a community to live in. It might be a community of 2 or more! People are important to me! I’d love to be part of a village, a street, or a neighbourhood—not isolated. An apartment above a shop, a converted basement in a lively area, or a spot with friendly neighbours would be perfect.

My Profile:
✔️ Skilled & Practical: Professional decorator and experience in property maintenance. I have the skills to improve and care for the right space.
✔️ Ideal Tenant: Non-smoker, non-drinker, quiet, reliable, and come with excellent references.
✔️ Local & Outdoorsy: A wild swimming guide 🏊‍♂️ with a lovely network of friends across the Yorkshire Dales.and beyond.
✔️ Space-Savvy: My current home is 7m x 2.5m—I love small spaces.

Location: I currently live in Swaledale (DL11) and I'm happy to stay in the area as I love it here but I'm also happy to consider any place that's within a 1.5 hour radius of Skipton (BD23) and so I'm considering vibrant towns, peaceful villages or even the edge of a city.

If you have a potential solution—a space needing a person or land needing a respectful bus—please be in touch. I'm open to all creative possibilities and I'm willing to pay rent or work for the space, or a combination of both.
