Would you let go of something you had your heart set on… for something more meaningful?
On a Zoom call this morning, I noticed something on his hand. A small elephant ring.
I paused and asked about it.
He told me it was his grandmother’s. She passed away last year. She travelled often, always bringing something back from her journeys… and she loved elephants.
He’d never worn the ring before. Until last week just put it on for fun.
We had been planning a honeymoon to the Indian Ocean — beautiful, seamless, exactly what you’d expect.
Everything was flowing… until that moment.
So I asked them one question:
“Have you ever heard of Anantara Golden Triangle?”
They hadn’t.
I shared the story behind it — the rescued elephants, the history, the setting… and the kind of romantic experiences you simply don’t find everywhere.
And just like that, the direction changed.
We didn’t just plan a honeymoon.
We designed something rooted in meaning.
His grandmother won’t be at their wedding this summer.
But somehow… she’ll be part of their journey.
That’s the human touch.
The part you don’t see.
But the part that changes everything.
