After an unfortunate cancellation, we have the half term week available from Friday 23rd May for The Garden Apartment at Lyon Court in Shanklin on the sunny Isle of Wight for the bargain price of £2,000
This apartment sleeps up to 8. The sleeping accommodation consists of 4 large bedrooms, 3 with king size beds, the other with twin beds for the kids. Two bedrooms can accommodate a travel cot if needed too. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite shower room and there are two additional family bathrooms with showers over baths.
The family room is fully equipped to a high specification with a range cooker, fridge freezer, wine cooler, full size dishwasher and stylish seating for 8 around a huge oak dining table, with comfy chesterfield sofas to collapse on to after a long day at the beach, with a 50" smart TV to watch Netflix/Amazon/Disney etc.
This apartment benefits from a large South facing terrace overlooking the gardens and swimming pool with smart garden furniture for al-fresco dining.
Each apartment at Lyon Court has its own Wireless Access Point for fast, free, wi-fi, we allow free parking for up to two cars, use of our new EV chargers for electric/hybrid cars.
Our private outdoor swimming pool is heated to 27c, our extensive gardens include an awesome kids playground complete with a playhouse full of toys.
For the older kids and the fun grown ups, we have a retro arcade on site with the ever popular crane grabber, coin pusher, air hockey table, vintage (90s) fruit machines and 2 multigame arcade machines with all the favourites.
Our new poolhouse is equipped with a 65” TV for watching major sporting events and a Bluetooth amplifier so that you can play your own tunes whilst chilling in the pool.
It is only 10 minutes’ walk into the picturesque Shanklin Old Village where you can find great pubs and restaurants and a further 5 minutes’ walk to the beach. This is a fantastic place for families to make memories!

We are able to comfortably accommodate groups of up to 25, subject to availability.

Each apartment has its own fully fitted kitchen, dining area and discrete terrace, with comfy seating for al-fresco dining/relaxing.
We have a fantastic outdoor swimming pool heated to a balmy 27°c and an amazing kids playground with a playhouse full of toys for the under 11s.

For the older kids and adults who are young at heart, we have our new retro arcade games room with all the classics, the ever popular claw grabber machine, a full size air hockey table and a Bluetooth amplifier for you to play your own music.

There is also a large TV in our pool house where we can show major sporting events or play films for the kids if they fancy chilling out.

Lyon Court is set in an acre of grounds with large landscaped gardens overlooking Shanklin Down.

It takes around 10 minutes to walk to Shanklin Old Village with its excellent pubs and restaurants and 15 minutes to walk to the award winning Shanklin beach and Esplanade.

One can walk across Westhill Road and straight up Shanklin Down to the old radar station on St Boniface Down where you can enjoy panoramic views of the island and beyond on a clear day!

A cracking review from a lovely couple that stayed in the Old Stable last week - "A really excellent property set in a really excellent location. The garden and pool were lovely with lots of great activities for children. Our separate annexe (The Stables) was really cosy and very well equipped. A perfect retreat for just the 2 of us. Special mention also has to go to Dan and Bex and their family - they live in the main property so are always on hand and available for lots of guidance on places to go and places to avoid. But they are never intrusive. All in all - brilliant." 😊😊

Another Five Star review from a lovely family who recently stayed with us: "Myself and my family have just returned from a weeks holiday at Lyon Court, and what a week we had. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Dan, Bec and the kids are a lovely welcoming family and were always on hand if we needed anything. The apartment was perfect in every way, spacious, clean with everything we needed already provided. The outside area with the garden furniture provided a perfect space to relax and overlook the lovely setting. It is also ideal for a nice relaxing evening in if you don’t want to go out every night. The facilities on site were absolutely perfect and our children had the time of their lives. The heated swimming pool, the pool house with the arcade machines and the playground and play house with a massive selection of toys to be shared we couldn’t have asked for anymore. We had a great time it’s a shame it went so quickly but will definitely return. I would have no problem recommending Lyon Court to anybody who is looking for a perfect holiday."
