Hi everyone 👋 How have you all been this past year? I stepped away from the travel industry back in January, which is why things have been a little quiet on here. But if I’m honest, what I’ve really missed is the creative side that social media presents - the writing, travel tips, photos / videos, and connecting with others who love exploring the world as much as I do. 🌍

So, this page has had a little makeover - inspired by my Substack travel newsletter and TikTok page, so now I can share all that travel creativity on here too.

I know it’s a little early, but my office is officially now closed as I am taking a break from the travel business, so to prepare for the festive season and our exciting long stay Canarian adventure! 🌞✈️

**𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑, 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐎 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐘?**

It’s been a great year, filled with unforgettable trips and wonderful memories and as the year moves into the festive season I find myself reflecting on all the amazing journeys that I've had the pleasure to be part of this year ..... here are just a few of the highlights .....

✨ A trip to the most idyllic island imaginable - Phu Quo with sights of Vietnam & a chance to catch up with old friends.
✨ Husky sledding in Tromso - a precious mother & daughter moment.
✨ Island hopping around The Azores – nature at its finest and a tick off the bucket list for one lucky couple.
✨ A group of friends escaping to the sunny shores of Majorca – laughter, sunshine and lots of wine (I imagine).
✨ A 50th surprise birthday celebration in beautiful Lake Garda – the perfect milestone moment.

Planning is key! Write down everything you need and bring out this list every time you go away which will save you time re-writing it for every trip.

2️⃣ **𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒍, 𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝑭𝒐𝒍𝒅**🌀
Rolled items fit neatly into small gaps in your suitcase—perfect for making the most of every inch! I never go away without a bottle of 'Lenor Crease Release' - a miracle spray that eliminates any wrinkles.

3️⃣ **𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒔** 👗
Choose co-ordinating pieces you can mix and match. A good rule is to pack three tops for every one bottom. Add lightweight layers for different weather, and limit the shoes - three pairs is plenty. One comfy pair for walking, one stylish pair for evenings, and one for adventures like hiking or the beach. Wear your bulkiest shoes during travel to save room in your luggage.

4️⃣**𝑼𝒔𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒖𝒃𝒆𝒔** 🧳
These are a game changer! Packing cubes keep your suitcase organised and help you find things quickly. Sort clothes by type or day, and you’ll never dig through your bag in frustration again. Perfect when travelling around on a 'multi-destination' trip.

5️⃣ **𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚-𝑶𝒏 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔** 🎒
Always keep a change of clothes, valuables, medication and travel documents in your carry-on. This way, you’re prepared for delays, cancellations, or baggage mishaps. Don’t forget headphones, snacks, and chargers, too!

6️⃣ **𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑩𝒂𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚** 🚀
Simplify packing by keeping your toiletries and holiday essentials ready to go. Once back home and items are washed, repack them and be travel ready.
