Definitely worth seeing! Be warned it gets very busy though! Sadly I won’t be able to attend this time.

🚲 It’s been great to see so many folks (both staff and customers) taking advantage of the summer weather and cycling to The Treehouse recently 💚

We’re lucky to be nice and easy to reach by bike, (especially by Sheffield standards!) being at the bottom of all the major hills, and close to the underpass by Decathlon which connects you to the city centre cycle path network.

If you’re thinking of trying this for the first time, there’s plenty of bike parking just across the road at New Era Square, which I’ve always found to be hassle-free having used it regularly for a while. If the weather’s looking a little iffy, there’s also covered bike parking nearby at Aldi.

Why not try a new mode of transport next time you visit?

Here are my Big Bike Revival events over the summer holidays. I have quite a selection to choose from!

🔧 Fix events - Bring your bike along for a free safety check, minor adjustments on tips on bike maintenance.

🎓 Learn to ride - For people who are complete beginners or who haven't used a bike in many years.

🚗 Road Confidence - Get tips on keeping yourself safe on the roads along with lots of practical training.

🚲 Ride events - Beginner rides with lots of rest stops. Good for exploring easy routes around Sheffield.

I’m running 2 different types of learn to ride sessions for adults next week.

On Monday 20th at 1pm, I am doing my road confidence course where I talk about riding on the roads and give loads of practical advice on staying safe.

On Friday 24th at 1pm and 2pm, I am running sessions to teach people how to ride. Really useful for those who haven’t ridden before or not ridden in a long time!

New vs old! I didn’t do the best job looking after my chain and it knackered my cassette!

Anyway, come join me with your bike on Friday 19th and I’ll share with you some tips on keeping your gears in top condition. I’ll be on Leavygreave Road near The Diamond from 3:30-5:30pm.

The weather was poor to begin with which put off a few riders but once it stopped we ventured forth and had a good time trying to find this new wooden sculpture that is being constructed by Park Hill flats. It’s going to look amazing once it’s put together. It’s a bit of a big 3D jigsaw at the moment!
