Hello... back from the glorious island of Kefalonia.
So much to recommend about it.
The Olive Garden in Lassi was a great accommodation... far up the hill but with the best views and the staff and food are excellent... so much so that we ditched going far for a few days and just stayed at the pool instead.
Lassi is fairly quiet.. some good restaurants but definitely Argostoli on the bus or in a taxi is my favourite for entertainment.. shopping.. eating... super yacht watching and exploring.
The beaches around Lassi were very busy so we stayed away mostly except for finding special quiet coves to swim in.
Driving in Kefalonia is easy.. although some of the roads are scary with lots of high edge twists and turns.. but then reward you with the best views.
Best part of the holiday for us as a family was hiring a boat for the day and getting to visit white rocks beach and seeing the dolphins.
Already feeling the holiday blues.. but many future plans to look forward to.
