EU Entry/Exit System (EES) now operational

The Entry/Exit System (EES) became operational on 12 October 2025. European countries are introducing the system gradually at external borders, with full implementation by 10 April 2026.

The EES replaces manual passport stamping with electronic recording of entry and exit data for non-EU travellers, improving efficiency and security across EU borders.

BUSINESS TRAVEL CONSULTANT POSITION

JOB DESCRIPTION
Anderson Business Travel are looking to expand their friendly Travel team and recruit a Business Travel Consultant.
As a Business Travel Consultant, you will be delivering exceptional travel services to all of our Corporate clients.
Working alongside our team arranging domestic and international business travel for air, car, rail and hotels.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• A minimum of 1 year travel industry experience is essential (corporate or leisure travel).
Working knowledge of the Travelport Galileo GDS booking system is essential.
In-house training will be provided.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
We require a proactive team player to fit in with our friendly team of travel consultants.
Excellent communication skills are required along with a fast and flexible working attitude.
You will need to be able to respond to phone and email requests in a professionally and timely manner.
Attention to detail is essential and the ability to work in a highly pressurised environment.
As an independent agent our dedication to our customer service and building client relationships is paramount.
You will be working on multiple accounts and be able to work effectively and efficiently on all types of client travel policies.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT:
LOCATION – Anderson Business Travel, Shepperton Marina, Felix Lane, Shepperton, Middlesex TW17 8NS
Own reliable transport is a necessity, there are no public transport links close to the office.
· Free on-site parking

HOURS • Working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £ Negotiable depending on experience

On Friday 6th May our boss, ‘Mr Anderson’, arranged for us to have an ABT Summer Party to celebrate successfully navigating our way through the last couple of years.
Our first celebration together in over 2 years!

This celebration took place in Somerset at Paul Anderson’s renovated 1950’s cowshed.

For the first time in over 30 years we closed our office early….

18 March travel to England changes
If you will arrive in England from abroad after 4am, Friday 18 March, you do not need to:

· take any COVID-19 tests – before you travel or after you arrive
· fill in a UK passenger locator form before you travel

This will apply whether you are vaccinated or not.
You also will not need to quarantine when you arrive, in line with current rules.



Other countries still have COVID-19 entry rules in place. You should check travel advice before you travel.

****Great news for all our travellers****

UK open for travel with all restrictions removed for eligible vaccinated arrivals
Changes to COVID-19 testing measures for travellers arriving in the UK from 4am 11 February.

From 4am on 11 February, all testing requirements for fully vaccinated travellers arriving in England will be removed.

Arrivals who are not fully vaccinated will only be required to take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on or before day 2 after arriving in England. They will no longer be required to self-isolate on arrival or take a test on day 8.
