Not only are the bedrooms at a The Gardens super comfy and beautifully furnished, you also get to choose how you’d like them set up.

Bedroom 1 is a king.
Bedroom 2 can be a twin or put together as a super king; just let me know at the time of booking. 😊

Have you been to Sherborne at Christmas?🎄

Our utterly stunning town comes into its own at this time of year. Just a wander around on a crisp evening is enough to make it worth the trip, with the lights of the abbey twinkling and the tree lined high street.

The festive display at our garden centre will take an hour of exploring and you won’t beat it for Christmas immersion: there’s a talking reindeer, singing penguins and a model train making its way around a winter wonderland.

The incredible monthly market makes its final outing of the year on the 15th: local artisan traders offering their wares, delicious street food and lots of festive atmosphere.

The Gardens is a quintessential English cottage, light and comfortable and oozing everything you need for a cosy stay in Sherborne.

The cottage makes the perfect home from home, with a king room and a second which can be a king or twin, plus a full kitchen and a bathroom with both shower and bath. With a surprisingly large cottage garden and a toasty log burner (and your first logs provided) it’s perfect all year round.

Sherborne boasts a thriving independent shopping and restaurant culture, all within a short walk, along with an abbey and two castles. The incredible Dorset countryside is on your doorstep. The cottage is the perfect combination of convenience and a rural escape.
