We are really lucky to have a healthy population of hares here on the farm. We often spot them in the distance but early this morning this one got spooked by Monty and ran straight towards me . Very special 💚🌿

Well behaved dogs welcome! We’ve been welcoming dogs into Tom’s , our largest hut for a while now , and we’re pleased to say dogs can now enjoy a stay in Edgar’s too - and maybe a sausage or two from the fire pit! Model - the impeccably well behaved and very gorgeous Martha 💚🐾🐾

If you’ve stayed with us before you may have done the Boxing Day walk - a circular walk from the farm - delightful any time of year but particularly special in May. The hedgerows are brimming with cow parsley & campions 🌿🌿

As we close down the shepherd’s huts for the winter we always turn the sheep into the orchard to eat up the fallen apples which they love!

The summer of 2024 has been as busy as ever with many amazing sunset evenings spent peacefully out by the lake.
The wildlife spotting has also been great this year with the highlight being the beautiful barn owl.
As most of the cows have now moved onto pastures new we welcome back the gorgeous Shetland ponies which our guests have loved!

Huge thanks to all of our wonderful guests for supporting our family farm and coming to enjoy the beautiful countryside that we are lucky enough to live in. 💚
