Would a BBQ be something you'd use at The Snug?

We've had a really simple to use, easy to clean option shared with us by a friend and are thinking about it. (I'll stick the link in the comments so you can have a look).

What's your favourite animal to spot in the countryside?

Mine is definitely deer and we are so lucky to see them every day at this time of year. Guests love it!

The Snug makes the perfect place to get away from it all and slow right down to enjoy nature.

Are you a builder’s tea person or a herbal infusion kind of gal?

I’m chamomile. Started in pregnancy and now I genuinely don’t know what I did before.

The Snug is all about relaxing from the moment you arrive, and I love choosing a few teas for you to enjoy from this little china bowl. Your feedback is really useful, thanks. ☺️

Electric cars...do you know someone who has one? Tag them!

We love this little black box attached to The Snug. It means we can welcome a whole new group of guests and fits with our eco-credentials and lower carbon aims so well.

It's SO convenient to have charging on site, especially in a rural area and, as you can see, it is right outside The Snug. With growing awareness of charging off a three point plug not being safe meaning options are a little more limited for EV chargers, we're really proud to have this as a USP. 😊

Guests can plug in as and when they like and we tot things up at the end of the stay, charging whatever they've used plus a fiver for the admin. It's so easy.

The Snug has its own driveway with ample parking for two cars, making it a great place to meet a friend if not come away together.

We take real care over each corner of The Snug. Maybe that’s because it’s small; maybe it’s because we care so much about the perfect stay for you.

If you’re not eating a warm doughnut fresh from the bakery after a short walk across the fields to get it this Saturday morning…. When are you coming here so you can?

This exquisite beauty is from and we are so lucky to have them as neighbours!

We’ve a couple of gaps left for the summer. I’ll put them in the comments later once I’ve finished my doughnut and walked home ❤️

It’s been six years since our offer was accepted on Caphays, and what a journey it’s been!

Fair to say renovations have taken about twice as long, three times as much money and four times as much blood, sweat and tears than anyone could have hoped. But it’s getting there, that’s for sure. We’re definitely over half way 😂

We’ve also been busy making two new humans at the same time, of course.

I’ve just been looking back at some of the early photos, and it’s hard to believe we really lived through it all (with a portaloo and no shower or heating too!!).

I feel so lucky to call this place home and to share it with our lovely guests. Every time you arrive and say what a special place it is, it’s the best reminder of how fortunate we are. 💙
