I've just spent a glorious evening down at the island reflecting on what this year has brought us. Here's to another year of happiness, health and joy to all those wishing to holiday by the coast. We hope our properties continue to provide joy and warmth to all our guests in 2026. Happy New Year folks!

As we embrace autumn 🍂 we're celebrating the warmth of colour here -retreats HQ. Light a candle, add colour to your room and enjoy a view that brings you joy. Inside or out - here's one of my favourites - Scolt Island by the super talented pairing beautifully with our freshly painted (I still have paint in my hair!) 'Blackbird Egg' paint from Anna .

Check out F&T's stunning paint range (Blackbird Egg can also be found on our @ window shutters) Happy to share paint colour schemes from any of our properties, our recently renovated Links Lookout and the earthy tones are dreamy. Enjoy the warmth of the autumn sunshine wherever you are today.

This half term we've had so much fun dodging the wild waves and embracing the soggy socks! There were moments of being fully submerged and how lucky we were to have the crisp blue skies 💙 which made us embrace our waters even more.

I thought I'd take a photo (post dip) to show how far the old Burlington Hotel has come on, whilst showing its immediate proximity to the wondeful life guarded beach.

For those that don't know, our apartment is situated on the upper ground floor in the original hotel building (left side), once the reception and dining room which means we inherited the wonderful arched windows and high ceilings. You can now clearly see the now completed modern build to the right, which has allowed for additional sea facing apartments and we think now all looks rather grand.

What a morning! I was lucky enough to spend a few hours flying high over our stunning coastline with my good friend who offers private flights during your stay

A truly magical experience which made me love our Norfolk shores even more. If that's even possible.
