CREW WANTED FOR SV BLACK ROSE (1999)
Location: Melton, Woodbridge, Suffolk

Crew sought asap for an extended cruise to take in Traditional ship festivals, book fairs and film festivals. The crew need to be personable, interested and sociable. Prior knowledge of sailing is not so important, for the owner has much experience of teaching sailing.

Black Rose was built in 1999 by her current owner, a Shipwright & Designer with London City Guild qualifications. The owner has served professionally as an Owner & Master of various vessels in the Merchant & Fishing Fleet, and Supply Crew and Contract Skipper on vessels from Germany to the Mediterranean.

Black Rose won the City Livery YC regatta, and served as Guardship for the commemoration of HMS Wildfire at Sheerness, and at The Spithead Review, again under the White Ensign.

Not sailing related or a club member but sharing this for a local lady who although suffering from cancer herself is working hard to make an app to support other people suffering from cancer.

There’s a copy of the poster on the noticeboard and copies on the signing in table if anyone is able to take to put up elsewhere.
