uble bedroom with plenty of storage, and a bathroom with bath and shower over. Outside there is a secluded patio area for guests' private use, with outdoor dining facilities and seating. Around the patio are colourful plants and shrubs. The accommodation is Walker and Cyclist Friendly. Drying facilities for wet weather gear can be provided in the main house and lockable bike storage is also available. We also offer free off-road parking. Travel here is possible by train to our local station in Wem, with onward 4 mile journey by taxi. Northwood is a small scattered village located on the English/Welsh border just 15 miles north of historic Shrewsbury, the birth place of Charles Darwin. The village has a well regarded dining pub, the Horse & Jockey, which is just a short walk away. There are a further two excellent dining pubs located in the nearby villages of Loppington and Welshampton. For day-to-day needs, Northwood is nestled in the midst of three pretty market towns - Wem, Ellesmere and Whitchurch. There are also several farm shops and local producers that you can visit by car or that could deliver. This Hideaway for two in Northwood is in the perfect location!
