"At April Cottage, it really is a gem, one of the most beautiful houseses we've stayed in. The interior design is absolutely stunning - we've been inspired to make some changes to our house! You've put so much care into everything. It really is appreciated. We walked the children to and from Ladram Bay - glorious adventure. Thank you for the milk and tea when we arrived and to your wonderful housekeeper Wendy, who readied ths house for us. We'll definitely return".

"Fabulous location for visiting our East Devon family at half term. The cottage has been really well thought through and equipped with everything you need. The interior decorations and colour scheme were perfect for creating a tranquil environment. Lots in the town to eat and a great beach in all weathers. Thanks for our stay. "We have visited Sidmouth many times over the years, but were delighted to stay in your lovely cottage - what a great find! It is extremely comfortable and well-furnished. We have felt very at home here - very calm and relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely stay again. We like the fact that it is in a quieter part of the town, but not far from the amenities. Thank you."

Delighted with our latest review: "I enjoyed staying at April Cottage for all the reasons listed on Sweetcombe's website. A much loved Victorian cottage but now with a contemporary renovation that floods it with light and warmth. The sunny enclosed courtyard is a great spot for breakfast but the whole cottage is welcoming and inviting. It's convenient location is quiet and appealing. I loved all the comforts the owners have carefully supplied, soft white towels, beautiful bed linens and carefully thought out lighting. Best of all I loved the ambience of the cosy cottage contrasted with the sense of fun the fabulous extension provides. Simply put the best of both worlds have been achieved, old and new, making the cottage a lovely place to relax in. Congratulations to the owners and thanks to Sweetcombe for judging that I would love staying in April Cottage. I certainly did."
