Fancy a cocktail, Asian food and some gorgeous views? We headed to one of our favourite places Bowness on Windermere and went to the incredible to treat ourselves! We started off with cocktails overlooking the stunning lake & then went to for 5⭐️ food & service. Highly recommend for a day or evening out 🥂

This recommendation goes to the gorgeous beach cafe ~ ☕️Fill your boots with ice cream, baked treats, breakfast goodies & lunch time nibbles. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and is based at the car park past the golf club or just turn left outside of the gate from the cabin!

🪻M A Y 🪻

This months recommendation is the beautiful Grasmere! We started off at a beautiful lake cafe where they served Italian iced coffee shot and you can drink it looking out over the lake, there are even rowing boats to hire! 🚣We did the hike then around Grasmere lake where people were swimming, paddle boarding and sunbathing and we decided to extend the loop by exploring the Rydal cave with some beautiful views and then back to Grasmere for a gorgeous lunch in the sunshine at (we’d highly recommend their sandwiches on pizza bread). Of course we couldn’t leave without taking home some of the famous gingerbread from 💛

🫧 M A R C H 🫧 (yes I know we’re a bit late)

3rd recommendation of the year is a perfect spa day out! We started the day by arriving for our spa day where we were greeted with fluffy bathrobes, we had drinks in the spa garden where there was a heated pool, sauna, steam room & much more! We shared an afternoon tea before we both got a massage (this was insanely good!). We had drinks by the water before finishing up with dinner in the Brasserie, the surf and turf was to die for, we even got a complimentary drink as it was our honeymoon. Perfect before going back to the cabin for a soak in the hot tub under the stars ✨

Our 2nd recommendation of the year is a unique space filled with all types of crazy decorations. With a ridiculous amount of drink choices, regular live music and a fantastic atmosphere it really is the best place to visit in the beautiful Keswick for a drink! 🍺🐑
