Cumbria Coach Operators Association The CCOA was formed as a body to interact with various organisations upon matters concerning the operation of bus and coach transport throughout Cumbria.

The Cumbria Coach Operators Association was formed as a body to interact with various organisations upon matters concerning the operation of bus and coach transport throughout Cumbria. Our aim is to represent all PCV operators throughout the County on a democratic basis which allows the same operators to have their say on any issues that may arise.

With the last of a few small hires now completed and the school trips now finished for 2022, the fleet is now all parked up for a well earned break. On Friday, I had the privilege of visiting a fantastic local business - Hobans 1923 Ltd.

It was great to meet with Richard Hoban, his wife, Gadvoranun, and Andrew Richardson, Funeral Director, at the purpose built funeral home at Kerry Park, Workington to discuss the great quality of service and work they offer and are doing for our local area through employment, investment, and public transport services - as well as the issues currently faced by the bus and coach industry.

From employing 2 staff members in 2017 to over 120 today, with scope for further expansion and employment in the Workington Constituency, this is an exciting time for the company.

I look forward to doing what I can to help Hobans as they realise their ambitious vision to expand their services in our constituency and across the north.
