Just 30 minutes drive away from our holiday homes is the beautiful town of Cockermouth with independent shops , fashion , fashion furniture, shoes . Great butchers and bread shops , pubs and cafes and a lovely river to walk along and a castle where you can explore the grounds.

A great local bread shop only 15 minutes drive from the old court house

We will be trialling fresh sandwiches tomorrow (Saturday) from 11.30am. Using our own focaccia with meat and cheeses from the deli at Polish Shop Panda Maryport. Hope to see you in the morning 😊

Hurry pack your bags .... fancy a quick 1 night get away this Friday perfect for groups of friends or anyone having a round of golf !!

We have tomorrow night available if anyone fancies a one night stay checking in early morning ... so time to enjoy the full day , sleeping 6 plus 2 dogs .. great opportunity to go for a meal or drinks and stay over £33 per person (based on full occupancy)
