Baskery are heading to Skipton Town Hall, bringing their high‑energy blend of Americana, folk and rock to the stage.

👻 Spooky season is on its way… and Skipton is getting ready for some fang‑tastic family fun this half‑term! 👻

On October 29th, the Canal Basin will transform into a pop‑up pumpkin patch with over 200 pumpkins to choose from. 🎃

Before you pick your perfect pumpkin, families must take on the Monster Trail around town! Grab a trail map from Skipton Town Hall, track down all 10 ghosts and ghouls, and discover the secret password to enter the patch. 👽

Once you’ve found your perfect pumpkin, enjoy a free pumpkin‑carving workshop, snap a spooky photo at the ‘face in the hole’ board, and meet the mischievous scarecrow bringing plenty of Halloween giggles. There’ll also be Halloween crafts and activities throughout the day. 🐈‍⬛

The Monster Trail runs 24th October – 1st November, with a prize draw for anyone who completes it and submits the mystery passphrase... 🎁

If you’re looking for something fun to do this half‑term, Skipton’s Halloween celebrations are ready to welcome you. 🎃✨

👻 Something spooky is coming to Skipton... 👻

This October, the brand‑new Skipton Ghost Cruise is bringing the town’s ghost stories, folklore and darker history onto the water!

Hop aboard Cobbydale with Skipton Boat Trips and Yorkshire Ghost Tours for a one‑hour journey filled with live storytelling, dark Yorkshire humour and eerie tales from Skipton’s past... 👀

It’s atmospheric rather than terrifying, family‑friendly (with some spooky themes), and Halloween sailings have already proved hugely popular, with two selling out in the first 48 hours.

The Skipton Ghost Cruises will be running for four days:
🏴‍☠️ Friday, 23rd October at 4:30pm and 6:00pm
🏴‍☠️ Saturday, 24th October at 3pm
🏴‍☠️ Tuesday, 27th October at 4:30pm
🏴‍☠️ Thursday, 29th October at 4:30pm

🚌 Don't forget about Vintage Bus Running Day TOMORROW! 🚌

The much‑loved Vintage Bus Running Day returns tomorrow (October 11th), bringing more than 25 beautifully restored buses and coaches to the town — some nearly a century old!

Hop on special heritage services running from Skipton Bus Station between 10am and 5pm, or head to Coach Street Car Park to explore the static display, snap photos and soak up the nostalgia. 🚍

It’s a fantastic day out for families, transport fans and anyone who loves a bit of Skipton history. 💛
