The Lancaster poppy display has been created by artist Darius Sirmulevicius, originally from Lithuania but now living in Kirton, Lincolnshire. Each handcrafted poppy that is sold will help to raise funds charities close to International Bomber Command centre, including the Wooden Spoon Charity

This charity is dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities or living in disadvantage in local communities across the UK and Ireland through the power of rugby.

We know you will join us in supporting this very worthwhile cause by ordering one of the poppies from the display ready to be sent to you in September.

Step back in time at Cogglesford Watermill 🌾

Learn the art of traditional milling, power the waterwheel and enjoy a proper miller’s tea break, by becoming a ‘Miller for a Day’!

A huge thank you to our brilliant 'Millers for a Day' who joined us for Wednesday’s Milling Experience ‍🌾

From turning the great waterwheel to learning the craft of traditional stone milling, they truly got stuck in — and of course, no miller’s day would be complete without a well-earned tea break with homemade scones... ☕🍰

Here is your friendly reminder of our May Half Term Braille workshop.

We are excited to welcome the children to learn more about Braille and help you create your names!

This workshop will be run during our opening hours of 10am-2pm and is a FREE event though donations are welcomed.
