We loved last weekend, not far away just down the coast in Flamborough. So many interesting things to do, as well as watching the elusive little birds themselves.

Loving the local yarm bombing!

Yesterday we enjoyed watching the tenders ferrying passengers back and forth from the cruise ship docked off the shore. I’m sure they had a nice day trip to Whitby!

We recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a meal at The Waterside. We’ve not been before but would definitely recommend it for a special occasion or a treat during your stay with us. It’s just down the road too!

Happy Easter! We hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy the extra long weekend.

It was also my birthday this week, so we celebrated with an Easter themed afternoon tea at Daisy Tea Rooms. This is the super cute children’s version 🐇

We had a great time at Whitby’s new play cafe Brew & Tumble which opened this week.

You book a 2 hour play slot online and have a table ready and waiting for you. Ideal for children aged 0-5 but older siblings can go too.

April is such a lovely time to visit. Beautiful weather and oodles of space before the main visitor season starts.
