However, it should always be considered a gesture of appreciation rather than something that makes you feel uncomfortable.
Rather than worrying about the exact amount throughout your holiday, ask us before you travel. We can provide destination-specific guidance based on where you are going and the services included in your itinerary.
It is also useful to carry some smaller denomination notes in local currency, making it easier to tip guides, drivers and other local staff when appropriate.
