💻 What a year it’s been for our Digital & Computing students! 🚀

From taking part in competitions with industry partners and regional skills events, to showcasing their talents through internal presentations — our students have had a fantastic year.

🏆 We also hosted the Regional Skills Competition for Cyber Security, where our team took 1st place!

Their challenge? To create a web-based cybersecurity awareness game designed to teach Level 2 and Level 3 students about common cybersecurity threats in a fun and interactive way.

And the best part? Their game will now be used to help teach future students. 👏💻

🚗 From starting out at college to becoming a Vehicle Technician! 🔧

Meet Toni Scott, one of our Motor Vehicle alumni.

When Toni joined college, she didn’t have many qualifications and wasn’t sure what direction she wanted to take. She chose Motor Vehicle because she wanted to learn practical skills, build her confidence and understand how to fix cars.

Today, Toni works as a Vehicle Technician at Stoneacre, carrying out inspections, servicing, diagnostics and PDI — and her ambition is to become a Master Technician. 👏

Her advice to other women thinking about a career in the motor industry?

“Go for it. It is definitely worth it, and you won’t regret it.”

Toni’s journey is just one of many success stories from our Motor Vehicle courses, with progression opportunities from Entry 3/Level 1 through to Level 3.
