What a fantastic few days at the CLIA Conference in Southampton - always one of the highlights of my year 🚢

Here’s a look back at an unforgettable cruise-filled weekend:

🐧 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 - 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
A fun evening event all about expedition Cruising to the polar regions 🐻‍❄️🐳

🎤 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 – 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
The conference kicked off with a series of insightful presentations, including a brilliant session with the wonderful Rob Rinder. Then it was straight to the Trade Fair, meeting with cruise lines and suppliers. These valuable face-to-face conversations help me stay up to date with the latest industry developments and bring the very best cruise opportunities to my clients.

👑 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 – 𝐀 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞
Friday was spent onboard the stunning Cunard Queen Anne, where I enjoyed an exclusive ship tour. The newest ship in the fleet has a different look and feel to the other Queens but still has plenty of nods to the heritage of Cunard. We enjoyed a delicious three-course lunch and then disembarked to get ready for our Sailaway Party at the O2 Guildhall.

✨ 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 – 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐱𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐞𝐱
The weekend concluded with a visit to the beautiful Celebrity Apex. After exploring this innovative and stylish ship on a guided tour, I enjoyed a wonderful onboard lunch while discovering more about everything Celebrity Cruises has to offer. From its contemporary design to its exceptional dining and entertainment, Celebrity Apex was the perfect way to round off an incredible weekend.

And that’s a wrap on CLIA 2026! 🌊

Today was the final day of the 2026 CLIA Conference and I had the opportunity to spend the day onboard Celebrity Apex 🛳️

From the stylish design and luxurious accommodation to the exceptional dining venues, every detail feels modern, elegant, and thoughtfully designed.

One of the standout features has to be the Magic Carpet®; a cantilevered platform that moves up and down the side of the ship, transforming into a bar, restaurant, tender platform, and more. It's a truly unique space that adds a real wow factor to the onboard experience. 🤩
