Round About Café A community café serving delicious, affordable food and drinks with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Visit us and become a member of our Community Pantry to help reduce food waste and save money. Round About Café is a community facility for the people of Mansbridge. You can drop in for a cappuccino, a sandwich or some lovely cake! You can use the laptops and free WiFi or just come and relax with a book. We also provide training opportunities as well as community activities - have a look at our 'W

hat's on' page on our website to what we've got planned! We are always looking for volunteers so if you can spare a few hours a week or month, get in contact!

Looking for something local, fun, and free to do this half term? Join us for a family-friendly heritage walk and discover the fascinating stories behind Mansbridge! 🏡

🌳 Join the Wilder Mansbridge Tree Trail! 🌳 Happening today!

Come explore the trees of Mansbridge in a fun, family-friendly event for all ages!
🕵️‍♂️ How old are the trees?
🐦 What birds and bugs call them home?
🌲 What stories do they tell?

Follow the trail to discover fascinating facts, and become a Tree Guardian for one of the 100 newly planted trees! Make a promise to care for it and learn more about it—you’ll even get a special certificate and tree label to mark your tree.

Get Involved: Mansbridge 100 Video

Monday 9 June, 2.30-5pm at Round About Cafe

We’re making a short video to celebrate 100 years of Mansbridge — and we’d love you to be part of it!

This special film will showcase the rich history, strong community spirit, and the voices of the people who make Mansbridge such a special place to live.

We’re inviting local residents to take part in short interviews (under five minutes) to share:

• Why do you love about living in Mansbridge?
• What does this community mean to you?

Everyone who takes part will receive a voucher for a free hot drink and snack at the café. If you don’t fancy being on camera, we can record your voice instead. Bring a friend, or your children, all welcome.

The finished video will be shown at the Mansbridge 100 Celebration Event on
Saturday 6 September, 11am-2pm at Mansbridge Primary School — come and see your story on screen!

Here's a taste of what we have available at the Community Pantry this week*

If you love potatoes, take as many as you can eat as we have loads 🥔 🥔 🥔

As next week is a bank holiday, the cafe will be closed on Monday so we won't receive a pantry delivery. The pantry will be open as normal Tuesday to Friday, but there will be a reduced selection of items.

It’s National Mental Health Week, and at Round About Cafe, we’re celebrating the power of music to lift spirits, connect people, and support wellbeing 💚

Did you know that singing in a group or making music together can:
✔ Reduce stress and anxiety
✔ Boost mood and self-confidence
✔ Create a powerful sense of connection and belonging

That’s why we run not one, but TWO amazing music groups, right here at the cafe – open to everyone and run in partnership with the brilliant SoCo Music Project:

🎤 Mansbridge Melody Makers
🕕 Mondays | 6–7.30pm
Join our friendly community singing group – no experience needed, just bring your voice and a smile!

🥁 Junk Orchestra
🕔 Thursdays | 5–6.30pm
Get creative by making music with upcycled instruments and found objects – it’s fun, loud, and surprisingly therapeutic!

Music brings people together – and that’s at the heart of everything we do 💫

Come along, meet new people, and do something great for your mind and soul.

🚲 Interested in learning how to fix up your bike—for FREE? 🚲

We're thinking of running a FREE six-week bike maintenance course this summer here at the Round About Café! It would take place on a weekday evening during July and August, and would be open to anyone aged 16+—no experience needed, just enthusiasm and a bike! 🛠️

You’ll learn everything from fixing a flat to giving your ride a full tune-up, with friendly, hands-on guidance in a relaxed community setting.
