RE: CORONA VIRUS AND HOLIDAY PARKS
As you are aware, Corona Virus has now become a global pandemic.
As you will also be aware, the UK Government has advised the following, to protect the old and vulnerable and stem the spreading of the virus:
• Everyone should stay at home unless required in the workplace
• All unnecessary travel should cease, and citizens should only go outside for food, health reasons or work if they cannot work from home
• Everyone should stop meeting with other people, even if they are family or friends
• Everyone should observe the 2m social distance
• Everyone should wash their hands properly and frequently and every time they go outside
With regard to holiday parks, the UK Government has advised that all holiday parks should close and that owners of holiday homes should return to their primary addresses.
Directors have considered these messages as they apply to Waterside Country Park, as we are aware that we have number of over 70s and other vulnerable groups among our holiday home owners. Directors have also considered the impact on the security of the parks and the health of owners and staff. It is therefore our decision that:
• All owners should return to their primary address forthwith, so as to comply with Government guidance and to self-isolate within the best environment possible.
• Absolutely no sub-letting allowed.
• No children will be permitted on site.
• No owner currently at their primary address should travel to the park for any purpose during the lockdown, or give permission for family or friends to do so.
In this way, we aim to comply as fully as possible with UK Government guidelines and to protect occupiers, and staff.
