🚀Halesworth Scarecrow Festival
This is a must see quirky autumn tradition, running until Saturday 31st October. Local businesses and organisations create their own scarecrows and display them around the town. The theme this year is Space! Expect astronauts, aliens, rockets, planets and maybe a UFO. Pick up forms from Hetty’s Little Copy Shop, the Library or the Halesworth Bookshop. Complete the trail, find the hidden letters and vote for your favourite scarecrow. Visit Halesworth

🏷️ Deben Events Vintage & Makers Market
On Saturday 24th October at the Suffolk Food Hall, Wherstead, is this very popular market with unique handmade items, vintage finds and one-off pieces from local makers. Make a day of it and enjoy food from the cafe, deli or restaurant on-site. Free parking and free entry. Suffolk Food Hall

🚲 Ruff Stuff Forest Cycling Event
Now in its 17th year, locals come back every year for their chance to ride on byways through woods and local forests. This is a ride and not a race and is hosted by Woodbridge Rotary Club. It's suitable for all ages with a 16, 22 or 44 mile route. Light refreshments are served afterwards at the start/finish at Butley Village Hall. Registration opens from 8am and the riders are set off between 10am and 10:30am. Mountain bikes or gravel bikes are most suited to this off-road terrain. Rotary Club of Woodbridge - UK

👻 Halloween Trick-or-Treat
Landguard Fort in Felixstowe promises family-friendly trick-or-treating through its corridors and passageways. Collect treats, pose for photos and enjoy an atmospheric, playful and safe space this Halloween. Ideal for children aged 3 - 15 years. From 5pm - 8pm on Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th October. 🌇 Watch the sunset at Southwold Lighthouse
Climb all 113 stairs to reach breathtaking views of the sea, sky, townscape and countryside. Watch the sunset and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this fully functioning lighthouse built in 1890. Tours are one hour long and start from Adnams Tours Centre for £15.50pp.

🐷 The Suffolk Whole Hog
Come and support those getting muddy for Suffolk Mind, at Wantisden Hall near Woodbridge. Runners will tackle either the 5 mile of 7 mile route with over 30 obstacles, including lots of mud, water, climbs and crawls.
